Security Deposit
A $500 security deposit is required at the time of booking. This will be added at checkout. If there are any charges being held from your deposit, it will be discussed with you. Your security deposit will be refunded after the camper has been thoroughly inspected and no issues or damages have been found. The owner reserves the right to take up to 72 hours to inspect post rental period.
Rental Agreement
1. No refunds for early returns.
2. Fee for Late Check-Out: A fee of $50 per hour will be charged if the RV is not vacated by 12pm unless otherwise communicated.
3. Campground reservations: Kindred Camper Co is not responsible for campground reservations or cancellations. All campground and campsite fees are separate and in addition to the rental price and fees under this agreement. No refunds will be given for campsite reservation errors.
4. Awnings: We DO allow the use of the exterior awning but ADVISE CAUTION. This is for your own protection and because they are NOT COVERED by insurance. They are expensive to repair and/or replace if damaged. All damage, including by any act of nature, is 100% your responsibility and will exceed your deposit amount.
5. Tires: There is a spare tire included on the rear of the RV if a flat tire/blowout occurs.
6. Rooftop: We DO NOT allow the use of the RV rooftop. Evidence of usage will result in the complete loss of security deposit. In the event of damage, you will be responsible for the total cost of repair.
7. Pets: you must get prior approval before allowing a pet in the RV. There is an additional $50.00 pet fee per pet. If any pet damage occurs, including evidence of pet urine or feces, you will forfeit your total security deposit.
8. There is a first aid kit that will be provided. Please advise at time of RV return if any items were used so that items can be replaced at no fee to the customer.
9. Waste Holding Tanks: NOTHING should be placed into the black water waste holding tank. You will be provided with ample rolls of RV safe toilet paper.
10. We request that all rentals clean up after themselves including sweeping, washing dishes and cookware used, and all linens piled into the shower. A charge of $150.00 will be the result of a filthy camper.
11. NO SMOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS. If smoking is detected, rental will be charged $500.00 cleaning fee.
12. NO DRUGS. Be prepared for law enforcement to be called if evidence is found of drugs use and you will forfeit your security deposit.
13. Report damage to us immediately. If the trailer is damaged, inside, or out, during your rental period, you are responsible for paying all damages. In case of accident, theft or vandalism occurs, you are responsible for obtaining a police report and notifying us immediately.
14. Appliances: In case of any malfunction of convenience items such as radio, microwave, jacks, A/C, etc. Contact us immediately.
15. Lockout/Lost Keys: There is a $25.00 fee to come and unlock the camper. There is a $25.00 fee for lost keys.
16. Personal Property: Your personal belongings brought with you are your responsibility and you release the RV owner from all claims of loss or damage.
17. If there is damage above the amount of the security deposit, YOU AGREE TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE.
18. Credits: There will be no refund/credits for any lost rental time for any issue that arises beyond the owner’s control.
19. Rental Period Extension: If, for any reason, the rental period is extended beyond original dates, you agree this document will also extend, be calid and enforceable for the entirety of your extended rental period.
20. Boon-docking or dry cramping restricts the capabilities of the camper. We, as owners, take NO responsibility for limited capabilities and capacities due to dry camping and/or boon-docking.
21. Hold Harmless: Renter agrees to hold harmless the owner of the rented RV at all times in all situations. Renter assumes all risks when renting the RV and owner cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss of income, loss of life or loss of personal property. Owner assumes no liability for the RV used during the rental period.
22. This agreement is in addition to any rental platform (ex. RV Share) rental contract. Both contracts are in effect together, during the rental period.
